The new City Hall is moving along. At this week’s Huntsville City Council session, councilmembers considered authorizing entering into an agreement on the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment Number #3 with Christensen Building Group for the City Hall Project.
The price passed along was $17,076,129.
Position #1 At-Large Councilmember Bert Lyle asked City Engineer Kathlie Jeng-Bulloch, “Do you think we’re going to meet these numbers?”
For clarity, she mentions the acronym CMAR, which is Construction Manager at Risk, in her answer to Councilmember Lyle:
