Huntsville City Councilmembers held their regular meeting this week. Regarding the next phase of the new City Hall building project all of the necessary figures hadn’t come in previous to the agenda publication, so a placeholder in the form of an agreement for the Guaranteed Maximum Price Amendment with Christensen Building group was put on the agenda. The final figures finally came in previous to the meeting.
City Manager Aron Kulhavy passed along to the council:
Mr. Kulhavy suggested an amended motion to keep construction underway on the new City Hall. The amended motion was presented to the council by Councilmember Vicki McKenzie.
The amended motion was approved.
