On Sunday in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Brandon Helm was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Monday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 1700 block of I-45 South. Three thefts were reported—a firearm was reported stolen in the 100 block of I-45 South; also in the 100 block of I-45 South, an unknown person made a purchase using motion picture only currency and in the 700 block of U-S 190, a known suspect stole prescription medication. In the 3000 block of State Highway 30 West, Jeremy Bernard Johnson was arrested for smuggling aliens. In the 300 block of US 190, Atrayu Gillaspie was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. In the 2800 block of Lake Road, James Lawson was arrested for a Walker County warrant, evading arrest and criminal mischief.
