Our congressman representing the 8th District, Marcus Luttrell, held a Town Hall at the Prison Museum last Thursday evening.
He talked about a number of issues with constituents. He passed along that he is representing around 800,000 people in his district and has learned a great deal from his time in the House of Representatives. He answered a number of questions on topics like the election of Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House; the debt ceiling; Title 42 in regard to immigration; the war in Ukraine and that discussion and planning on local projects are getting underway.

He went on to explain there were strong differences between the two political parties on gun restriction issues.
