According to a press release from the Walker County Criminal District’s Attorney’s Office, Lawrence Cobb has been indicted for First Degree Murder.
According to a March 6, 2023 story on the KBTX 3 website, Walker County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a residence on Ashworth Road regarding a disturbance. A deceased woman, Cobb’s wife, was found at the residence. Fifty-nine-year old Lawrence Cobb was identified as a suspect. Eventually, he turned himself in to the sheriff’s office where he confessed to the murder. Cobb is being held on a $500,000 bond.
