The Courier of Montgomery County reports that Conroe’s Parks and Recreations Department’s annual Kidzfest is back this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. During the event, several blocks downtown will become a huge playground for the day.
Not only is the event free, but parking is free also. The Kidzfest will happen in the blocks from Thompson to Frazier Streets and Davis to MetCalf Streets.
Entrances are at Main and Metcalf Streets, Main and Simonton Streets, Metcalf Street at Heritage Place Park, and Simonton and San Jacinto Streets.
Parking is located at the Montgomery County Parking Garage at 513 North Main and Montgomery County Parking Garage at 11 West Davis.
A shuttle will be new to festival this year. Those headed for Kidzfest can park at the Park and Ride location under I-45 next to Conroe’s Central Library at 104 Interstate 45.
There will be shows at the Heritage Place stage at 500 Metcalf, at Founder’s Plaza stage at Metcalf and Main Streets and at the Discovery Villager on Metcalf Street.
There will also be several themed villages for the kids.
