The Montgomery County Courier reports that today through Sunday, the Conroe Crossroads Music Festival returns in Conroe’s downtown cultural district. Over a four-day period, 40 bands will be featured in 11 venues.
All sorts of music are featured, from Zydeco to Country and from Americana to music for kids.

Conroe’s new Connection shuttle system will be in operation. Riders can travel between venues and other areas of interest downtown. The shuttle will run Friday and Saturday from six in the evening until 12:30 AM, with buses at ten minute intervals.
During Saturday, a special shuttle will also run between downtown and Margaritaville from 1:30 to 6:00 PM. You can board at Simonton and Main for the 35-minute ride to Margaritaville Lake Resort on Lake Conroe. Margaritaville is featuring a Craft Beer, Wine and Crawfish Festival. A free concert featuring Cedryl Ballou and the Zydeco Trendsetters will be on tap.
