We’ve been informed that Collin Weiser and his wife Kim are expecting their 3rd child, a boy that has been diagnosed as having Trisomy 18 — a condition that almost always means death, either before or after delivery. The baby is due in early May. Collin is a licensed minister that serves as an on-campus missionary with Chi Alpha, a student Christian organization, on the SHSU campus in Huntsville. Kim is the director of CASA in Huntsville.
On Friday, the staff of about 35 Chi Alpha leaders have set up a prayer tent in front of the Chi Alpha building and are holding 24/7 prayer for the next 6 weeks for baby Elijah and his family.
