The Boys & Girls Club of Walker County is celebrating their 20 year anniversary today. Beginning at 5:15 this afternoon they will feature networking and clubhouse tours. At six tonight, Bridgestone will be giving the Club a $100,000 donation to fund their technology needs and purchase a van.
Speakers include Boys & Girls Club of Walker County CEO Michelle Spencer, local Chamber President Ray Hernandez and Firestone Complete Auto Care Store Manager, David Walker.
The Boys & Girls Club is located at 99 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
