11/23/20 Monday – Hornets remain unbeaten

What a football game last Friday night for the Huntsville Hornets – and in the end, the Hornets got the win over lake Creek 49-14 to move on to a record of 7-0 and 4-0 in district play. After a lackluster first half, the Hornets scored 35 points in the second half. With the win, the Hornets secured a spot in the playoff’s, and with a win this coming Friday night against Montgomery, the Hornets will get the district title. All the action will be on 101.7 KSAM, with the pre-game at 7pm and kick-off at 7:30pm, with Rob Hipp and Bryan Adams bringing you all the action.

On Saturday, the Alpha Omega Lions faced off against Faith Academy Flames in the first round of the playoff’s with Alpha Omega losing 46-30.

The Huntsville Lady Hornet volleyball team moves on to the area round of the playoffs later today as they’re facing the Lady Lions of Greenville High School. This match will be played at Ennis High School starting at 6pm.

In the NFL from Sunday, the Houston Texans beat the New England Patriots 27-20 while the Dallas Cowboys beat the Minnesota Vikings 31-28.
