Democrats on Thursday tried to stop the nomination of Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barett.
Here, for example, is committee member Senator Richard Blumenthal addressing Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham . . . .
Thursday, the Democrats brought forth witnesses who spoke about how Barrett’s rulings in the future could impact Americans negatively. Witnesses from the American Bar Association called Ms. Barrett ”well qualified.”
Republicans being in the majority on the panel, approved Senator Graham’s motion which set the vote on the nomination for October 22 at 1 PM. Next, the full Senate would vote a couple of days later.
