HUNTSVILLE ISD BOARD MEETS TONIGHT

The Huntsville ISD Board of Trustees will meet for a regular meeting at 6 tonight at the Hawkins Administration Building. Because of the COVID Pandemic, the meeting will be open to the public to attend physically at up to 25% occupancy—44 occupants. If the 25% is exceeded, the meeting will be live-streamed.

Tonight’s “Consent Agenda” includes, Board approval of the Order for the School Board of Trustees Election on November 3, 2020, approval of a Joint Election Agreement and Board approval of a resolution on Identification of Hazardous Zones.

Also tonight, the Board will consider approval of the Optional Flexible School Day Waiver/Program.

They will look at approving the revised 2020-2021 Instructional Calendar.

The Board will receive the Emergency Management Informational Report, hear a presentation of the proposed Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee Master Plan and there will be Board comments.

Superintendent Sheppard will deliver a briefing.
