The Walker County Office of Emergency Management reports as of 4 PM, Wednesday, July 8th, that among regular residents there were 479 active cases, with 186 recovered and three deceased. Note that there were 9 new community cases since the last report on July 7.

Among TDCJ offenders in the county, there were 35 active cases reported, 1627 recovered and 28 deceased.

Among TDCJ employees in the county, there were 40 active cases reported and 173 recovered.
