Walker County Commissioners will meet for a Regular Session this morning at nine at the courthouse.

This morning’s “Statutory Agenda” includes Precinct #1 Justice of the Peace Fisher’s discussion and possible action on the purchase of nine cameras from the JP Technology Fund for $1,881 to be issued and assigned to the DPS patrol vehicles for photographing accident and crime scenes. On the same agenda, Walker County Emergency Management Coordinator Butch Davis will talk about possible action on an Emergency Disaster Response Agreement with Garner Environmental Services and discuss action on the purchase of food for Government Classes to be held January 27th – 30th at the Storm Shelter—not to exceed $150 from budgeted funds.

County Purchasing Agent Mike Williford will discuss purchasing a Cutter for $19,000 to be paid from budgeted funds.

County Judge Pierce will talk about an authorization to issue requests for proposals and requests for statements of qualifications for services related to the 2020 Transportation Infrastructure Program funded by the Texas Department of Transportation.
