With the growth of the county, commissioners approved a service to move portions of the county files to a cloud based system. The commissioners awarded Mazik Global for base services for migration of current financial software to the cloud version covering Finance and Operations Enterprise accounts at a cost of $98,280. The amount will be paid from the current budget project and operating funds. However, $80-thousand dollars will be needed to migrate files in the County Treasurer’s Cashiering Software, Document Management Software Integration and any additional services. County Auditor, Patricia Allen, explains.
The county will be paying Mazik $117 per hour for programming services on an as needed basis. Allen estimated that to reach up to $20-thousand or a little more per year. The county currently pays our about $50-thousand for those services.
