Tonight, the Huntsville ISD Board of Trustees will meet for a Public Hearing, a Special Board meeting and Board Workshop.
Tonight’s agenda says there will be an Optional Flexible School Day Program Application for 2019-2020 public hearing commencing at 6 PM. There will be a presentation of information supporting recommendation for approval of the program application with presenters M. Forney and M. Schnitta. There will be a Public Hearing on the program application—an opportunity will be provided for the district taxpayers to address the Board of Trustees regarding the program application. If a taxpayer would like to address the Board regarding he program application, a public comment card should be completed prior to the start of the Public Hearing as well as signing in.
In a Special-Called Board meeting tonight, items requiring Board action include consideration of Board approval of the Optional Flexible School Day Program Application for 2019-2020, approval of architectural firms and an authorization of the Superintendent to negotiate and execute all the necessary documents and agreements with the selected firms.
In a Special-Called Board Workshop tonight, a legislative update is required training for the Board of Trustees and will be facilitated by ESC 6 personnel.
