In Huntsville Police news on the day shift Monday, an unknown suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $50 bill in the 1500 block of 11th Street. In the 3200 block of Robinson Creek Parkway, Emilio Gonzalez was arrested for theft of mail, possession of a controlled substance and false vehicle registration.

On the night shift Monday, property was taken without purchase in the 1700 block of 11th Street. In the 1500 block of Windwood, three known juveniles damaged property with spray paint.

On Tuesday’s day shift, an unknown suspect was reported to have forged checks in the 2800 block of Lake Road. In the 400 block of Palm Street, an unknown person stole a trailer with a riding and push mower. A sexual assault was reported in the 2600 block of Milam Street. At the intersection of Avenue C and 13th street, William Bohannon was arrested for public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

On the night shift Tuesday, in the 1300 block of Thomason Street, a known suspect displayed a firearm at another person, and a known juvenile discharged a firearm in the direction of several people and failed to identify. In the 2600 block of El Toro, Korey Green was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
