CONGRESSMAN BRADY: “AMERICAN ENERGY DOMINANCE SHOULD BE CELEBRATED.”

Thursday, Congressman Kevin Brady, voted against anti-energy legislation in the House of Representatives. 

This week, the House of Representatives voted on three anti-energy bills, including:

  • H.R. 205, which passed the House 248-180, would permanently extend the drilling moratorium in the Houston region’s Eastern Gulf.

  • H.R. 1941, which passed the House 238-189, would block oil and gas lease sales in the Atlantic and Pacific planning areas in any future leasing program.

  • H.R. 1146, which passed the House 225-193, would repeal Section 200001 of Public Law 15-17, eliminating the authorization of an oil and gas development program in the 1002 Area of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
