Katelyn Klawinsky was crowned Saturday morning as the 2019 Walker County Fair Queen. Klawinsky is a junior at New Waverly High School where she is a member of the National Honor Society, New Waverly FFA and the Walker County 4-H Club. The judges also selected her as Miss Congeniality. She began her official duties representing the fair as queen.
Two other queen contestants from New Waverly High School were tabbed by the judges. Kelcie Drane was selected as the first runner-up, while Morgan Smith was the second runner-up. Both are sophomores at New Waverly High School.
