IN HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL ON TUESDAY, THE HUNTSVILLE LADY HORNETS FELL TO 5-&-2 IN DISTRICT WITH A 3-2 ROAD LOSS TO DISTRICT-LEADING LAKE CREEK IN MONTGOMERY.

IN COLLEGIATE GOLF ON TUESDAY, SHSU’S HANNA ALBERTO CONTINUED HER HOT STREAK AND BROKE A COUPLE OF SCHOOL RECORDS ALONG THE WAY. ALBERTO SHOT A 75 ON THE FINAL DAY OF THE HBU HUSKY INVITATIONAL IN HOUSTON TO CLAIM THE INDIVIDUAL TITLE. IT’S HER 4TH TITLE OF THE SEASON WHICH BREAKS THE SCHOOL RECORD FOR MOST WINS IN A SEASON. IT WAS ALSO HER 7TH CAREER CHAMPIONSHIP – WHICH IS ALSO A NEW SCHOOL RECORD. AS A TEAM THE BEARKAT WOMEN FINISHED IN 4TH PLACE.
