The Huntsville City Council will meet for a regular session at six this evening at City Hall. Previous to the regular meeting, councilmembers will hold a workshop where they will discuss shared housing and annexation recycling.
Tonight’s “Consent Agenda” includes:
–approval of the Continuing Disclosure Agreement with The Trinity River Authority and the related Resolution.
–consideration of authorizing the City Manager to enter into a lease agreement with the Texas Board of Criminal Justice for a 2.373-acre tract located at the northeast intersection of Rosenwall Road and FM 2821.
–consideration of authorizing the City Manager to award the purchase of Vegetative Debris Grinding Services.
–and, consideration granting easements for electric power facilities to Entergy Texas on City properties along Veterans Memorial Parkway.
On tonight’s “Statutory Agenda,” there will be a second reading to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending the Huntsville Code of Ordinances striking the exemption for such vehicles owned by, driven by or in possession of jurors of any case in District or County court.
The mayor and councilmembers will present “Items of Community Interest.”
Councilmembers will meet in closed “Executive Session” to receive legal advice on the City of Huntsville Transfer Station facility. They will reconvene in “Open Session” and take action on items discussed in “Executive Session,” if necessary.
