In Huntsville Police news, on the day shift Friday two residential burglaries were reported—one in the 100 block of Hidden Valley Drive and the other in the 200 block of Normal Park Drive.

On the night shift Friday, a theft was reported in the 500 block of FM 2821. In the 400 block of Brunch, Rickey Riles was arrested for assault in family violence in impeding breath. In the 300 block of U-S 190, Edgar Mendoza was arrested for a robbery warrant. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Juan Olvera was arrested for DWI 3rd or more.

On the day shift Saturday, on Howard Circle a known suspect possibly caused injury to a child.

On the night shift Saturday, two known suspects assaulted each other in the 2200 block of Sam Houston.

On the day shift Sunday, in the 3000 block of State Highway 30 Elvis Levige was arrested for injury to a child.

On the day shift Monday, in a case of aggravated assault known suspects fired rounds at a victim in the 1300 block of 19 ½ Street. Police investigated an assault case in the 2200 block of Hill Street where a known suspect hit another person. In a Welfare type call, police were dispatched to 110 Memorial Hospital Drive regarding three known suspects who had committed a home invasion. Three thefts were reported—one in the 100 block of MLK, a second in the 200 block of Brunch Avenue and in the 100 block of I-45 North where a known suspect stole money.
